As much as I’d love and want a remake to my favorite RPGs, I don’t want to play all my favorite rpgs as button mashing hack n’ slashes with menus. I’ll pass unless they actually keep it turned based. Turn based can be done right and awesome. Look at rpgs like legend of legaia, or lost odyssey.
Like I said in the previous articles, average at best. Some just don’t want to admit it due to it being exclusive for ps5 console atm.
Let’s face the facts, every game has it’s fans. This is one high score that will not reflect the majority. This game will be average or below. It just isn’t what it’s supposed to be. That being said, if you want the game, buy it. If not well that’s on you too.
This is what the ps+ catalogue is for. I’ll wait for it to be on there or get it free from ps+. The game looks nowhere near what it was on it’s showcase.
I honestly don’t see the problem. Personally, I haven’t played any of these games for the trophies, but at the same time if that’s what people want to play let them play for their easy trophies. Anybody, especially hardcore trophy gamers will be able to distinguish the tier of your platinum trophies.
An Achievement/trophy doesn’t have to be painstakingly difficult to be awarded to you. There isn’t a certain caliber a game has to be for rewarding you getting all the trophie...

Wow! I’m glad you’re having a great time with your purchases. I have an xbox one and a ps4. The ps4 was more than enough for me this gen! It covered all of my needs so far. I was waiting for this game to hit game pass on xb1, but I’ll wait for the inevitable ps5 release. 🙃

It’s a shame this game is receiving such low scores. It’s just not a time for simplistic zombie horde TPS. This game would have been acceptable in 2014. I feel as if this game is 3-5 years too late.

I respect from software and their decisions on soul games. I’m not particularly agreeing with the article but I can see in some cases where players are frustrated with the learning curve.
Soul games are very punishing if you don’t get passed certain habits. I know a lot of casuals interested but just don’t have time for the trial and error approach soul games have.

I hate to be that guy but this is why I feel like Backwards compatibility is critical on sony consoles.
